United Methodist Women

The Northern Door unit of the United Methodist Women (UMW) is an organization open to all Calvary and Zion women with the following

PURPOSE:

“The organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

The business and program meetings are generally held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month (except January) and they alternate between Calvary and Zion UMCs.  The Brunch Bunch (social event) generally meets on the 4th Monday of each month at various restaurants in northern Door County.  We also participate, as able, in District events.
